IT Controls Analyst

Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS), located at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewsiton, Idaho is currently recruiting for an IT Analyst to focus on change control, access control, and disaster recovery activities. These essential duties are driven through a mature set of defined processes, but require dedicated ongoing local support across a number of applications and technologies at multiple sites. This person will maintain IT policies and procedures to adhere to industry best practice and compliance with government regulations and programs. In addition, he/she will handle audits for compliance across IT and end-user departments.
### QUALIFICATIONS
Well organized and action oriented
Experience with Disaster Recovery procedures and processes
Extensive experience in areas of IT Audit and Controls and development of related policies and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to provide clear instructions on IT Control requirements to the IT teams responsible for maintaining applications and technologies
Healthcare experience is a plus

### RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain Disaster Recovery Plans and conduct required exercises for multiple applications and locations
Ensure that adequate Change Control processes are in place and facilitate Change Control Board meetings at multiple sites
Address ongoing requirements around system security and access controls
Facilitate both external and internal audit activity, including compliance with HIPAA and ARRA MU requirements
Serve as local point-of-contact for Ascension IT General Controls (ITGC) and manage ITGC audit and remediation plansEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
